Dr. Sergey Macheret, a Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), is a distinguished researcher and innovator in plasma science and aerospace engineering. He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and Kurchatov Institute of Atomic Energy, respectively. Since moving to the U.S. in 1991, he has held academic positions at Ohio State University, Princeton University, and Purdue University, where he served as a Professor of Aeronautics, Astronautics, Electrical, and Computer Engineering.
